The Inspiration

Two Symbols. One Spirit.

Some of the most powerful lessons about connection, strength, and community can be found in nature. Tusk & Tulip was born from two symbols that beautifully reflect the spirit of women supporting women and blooming with confidence and purpose.

The Elephant

Across cultures, elephants symbolize wisdom, strength, loyalty and deep family bonds. Within herds, it is the females who lead and protect, creating communities rooted in awareness, care and cooperation.

The Elephant Circle

When a member of the herd is vulnerable, the females instinctively gather around her — forming a protective circle of fierce, loving presence. Women carry this same instinct. Sometimes we find ourselves in the center of the circle, in need of support. Other times, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our sisters, strengthening the circle and holding space with love.

Elephants Celebrate

When a calf is born, the herd trumpets with joy. Women do the same — gathering to celebrate milestones and rejoice in the beautiful moments that shape our lives.

The Tulip

Tulips are often among the first flowers to bloom after winter, emerging bravely from the cold ground and darkness to signal renewal and new beginnings. Because of this, they have long symbolized hope, rebirth, love and possibility.

Tulips stand tall and graceful, representing a strength that grows over time. Their bulbs spend months beneath the surface before blooming — a beautiful metaphor for the unseen growth, healing, and transformation that often happens within us before it appears in our lives.

Just like tulips, women flourish when rooted in friendship, encouragement and community. Connection is the soil in which we grow. Tusk & Tulip exists to be that soil — a place where women take root, rise, and bloom together.

The Welcome Table

Pull up a chair and exhale. The Welcome Table is where women gather without pretense. It's a gathering built on trust, warmth and the unspoken agreement to show up honestly. Here, every woman is welcomed exactly as she is.

The woman behind
the circle.

Tusk & Tulip was born from a deeply personal journey and more than three decades of watching what happens when women are brought together in the right room.

As the founder of Smith Consulting & Events, Stacey Smith has spent decades with a front-row seat to the magic that unfolds when an event is designed with real intention. Over the years, she noticed something that kept showing up: the most powerful moment was never the keynote or the agenda. It was always the conversation in the corner, the unexpected connection, the woman who leaned over and said 'me too.' Time and again, she witnessed women leaving transformed, not just by the program, but by each other. Tusk & Tulip is her way of making more magical moments happen on purpose.
